On your marks, get set .. go! The Scavenger Hunt begins today! It was our most popular badge of 2022, and judging from your enthusiasm before the hunt has even begun, it’s likely to be another popular one! The list of 30 items to find is on the Facebook group and website Noticeboard.
In addition to our annual Scavenger Hunt, this month will see the first annual Rebel Summer Camp finally kicking off in Bromsgrove, after 18 months of planning! We have almost 200 Rebels attending the inaugural event. There are still a few last minute tickets available, and there are also day passes on sale for anyone keen to get involved but unable to stay on site overnight.
If you have a ticket for Camp and are worried about the current ‘delightful’ weather, we still have space in both the pods and Manor House, with everyone getting a full bunk bed to themselves (so they can sleep on the bottom and use the upper bunk for baggage, or vice versa).
Finally, this month we have launched the Big Rebel Adventure! Next June, a group of Rebels will be attempting to complete the Three Peaks Challenge in under 24 hours. In training for the weekend we will be climbing Snowdon, Scafell Pike, and doing the Surrey Three Peaks. You can join us for one or all of the adventures - full details on the Events page of the website, including accommodation options for Snowdon this September.
I look forward to seeing many of you at Camp, and handing out the first batch of our new Rebel Star awards, to Rebels who have gone above and beyond for the Club over the last 22 months :)

Super Scavenger
Our only assessed badge returns!
In addition to the Scavenger Hunt badge - which you get for simply taking part - if you’d like a bit of competition, you can also attempt the Super Scavenger.
You will need to take photos of yourself with all the items you find, and find at least 25 of the 30 items. There is then a special Facebook group to join where you will be assessed later this month.
And yes, the badge is sparkly again!
New Additions to the Shop
If you’d like to join us on Snowdon, Scafell Pike, or for all three of the famous Three Peaks, check out the events page of the website. We can accommodate slower walkers on the training walks if you are worried you won’t be fast enough for the 24 hour challenge. Rebels can also take part as drivers and support crew.
Accommodation is available to book for Snowdon and the Three Peaks weekend.
We also have a batch of technical sports t-shirts being made - get your order in before August 5th.
