Silver Maverick - Official Sign Up and Log Book
Only available once you have completed the Bronze Award.
The Maverick Awards have been designed as a 6 month + challenge, specifically for adults. They were created after Rebels in the Facebook group requested an ‘adult version’ of awards like Duke of Edinburgh, Queen’s Guide and Queen’s Scout.
** This administration fee will officially record the date you started your Silver Maverick Award - all activities need to take place after this date. Please do not sign up for anyone else - the sign up needs to be in your name, only one sign up per order. **
The fee will also go towards annual awards ceremonies, and the cost of the time spent assessing your Award once you have finished. On completion, fabric and metal badges will be available to purchase separately. The metal badges will be uniquely numbered.
Your sign up fee includes a contribution to a fund for disabled Rebels who require indoor accommodation in order to make the cost of the outdoor section of the Award fair and accessible to all.
As part of sign up, you will be issued an Award log book, as soon as they are available - so please make sure I have your correct postage address. Because international Rebels are less likely to be able to attend an in-person presentation, sign up is a set fee for all, which includes your postage costs.
The Gold Award will follow, however you will need to complete your Silver Award before starting it. Full details on both the blog and Facebook Group.
